"One of the biggest challenges I face when planning our convention is
finding a good speaker from outside our industry (home medical equipment)
who can provide useful information. Last year, I called Robb Wilmot
because of his well-known expertise in database design. Many of our
members have large databases full of potentially useful information that
isn't used for anything except billing, and I asked Robb to teach us how
to organize that data for other uses. During the planning phase, I asked
him about doing a keynote address, and that turned out to be the big hit
